Book a time when suits you and connect to an online doctor
Instead of handing you a paper script, your doctor sends you a text message or email containing a link to a unique QR code, or token.
Your pharmacist scans the QR code on your phone (or tablet) to retrieve the details of your script and fill your medication.
Digital scripts eliminate errors caused by illegible handwriting, ensuring your pharmacist dispenses exactly what was prescribed.
No need to worry about lost paper. Your script arrives instantly via SMS or email, always accessible on your phone.
Perfect for telehealth consultations. Receive your medication script instantly without needing to visit a clinic in person.
Going digital reduces paper waste, making eScripts a greener choice for you and the planet.

If you're not feeling well or need quick leave, you'll be looking for dependable healthcare that avoids long waits and in-person clinic trips. Although online services are available, you want to be certain that the solutions offered are professional, trustworthy and simple to use. That's typically a reliable option whenever your university or employer needs documentation. Here at MediLeave, you'll be connected with Australian-registered practitioners who work in line with the guidelines set by the AHPRA and RACGP. We apply dependable oversight, close attention to detail and professional care to every request, and you can trust that your matter is being addressed correctly. Affordable healthcare is made more accessible through our platform by bridging the gap between you and trusted care, with clear guidance and professional support throughout the process. Whether you're in a city office, working from home or based in a rural area, you can conveniently connect with a doctor online. We keep things practical, measured and transparent, so you don't have to rearrange your schedule or go through traditional clinic processes when you want to speak with a trusted practitioner or are looking into "Uti Prescription". MediLeave is built to assist individuals with mobility challenges while also helping people across a wide range of locations.
When quick, practical medication support matters, we provide a reliable way to request online prescriptions or eScripts without in-person appointments or unnecessary delays. If you require a new script, a repeat prescription or a medication adjustment, your request can be completed entirely online using clear step-by-step prompts reviewed by experienced practitioners. If authorised, your online prescription or eScript can be sent to your phone within minutes, ready to use at a local pharmacy. This option can be especially helpful for people managing ongoing conditions or responding promptly to concerns such as UTIs, hayfever, migraines or acid reflux. If your needs extend beyond medication, you may receive treatment advice or blood tests and specialist referrals via MediLeave's telehealth consultations with doctors, pharmacists and nurses. Requests for medical certificates for work, school, university or carer's leave are similarly accessible through the same platform and are designed to meet Australian medical guidelines and regulatory standards that institutions and employers recognise. For added peace of mind, requests not approved are backed by a 100% money back guarantee. On top of these, you can consult an online doctor to review your travel plans and receive personalised disease prevention advice and more. With this approach, we can help you manage everyday healthcare needs more confidently, whether you're searching for "Uti Online Prescription" or "Uti Antibiotics Telehealth".
With us, a supportive system helps keep your information private while prioritising convenience. You may submit your request fully online, with no in-person appointment required. A qualified Australian practitioner examines your request based on the details you submit. When approved, your prescription or MediLeave telehealth outcome will be delivered digitally by email or SMS to your phone for convenient access. On the other hand, your medical certificate will be emailed to you. You remain in control with 24/7 request availability and fast review times, with medical certificates processed within only 60 minutes on average. Same-day telehealth consultations are available 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm AEST and don't carry additional fees for after-hours or weekend bookings. You won't need to wait in a waiting room or follow a fixed schedule; simply join the queue and a doctor will call you during your chosen time slot. Throughout the process, your information is protected through a secure and private platform backed by 256-bit encryption, so you can ask us about "Thyroid Blood Test" or "Doctor Prescription" knowing your details are safe. Our service is intended for non-emergency and everyday health support only; if you require urgent care, please go to your nearest emergency department or call 000. For any questions about "get a sick certificate online" or "prescriptions online", you can contact us by phone or email for assistance. Reach out and connect with a doctor now.
At MediLeave, you can request instant scripts online at any time, as our bookings are available 24/7.
A doctor will review each request to assess the situation and determine whether a prescription or specialist referral online is clinically appropriate, ensuring that care remains safe, responsible and based on individual needs.
When requesting online prescriptions or eScripts in Australia, you will need to provide a few key details, such as your personal information and a short summary of your health concern or request.
It is also a requirement in Australia that, in order to receive an eScript, you must either have a Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI). This is because your identity needs to be verified through the national healthcare system.
If you don’t have either of these, you can still have a telehealth consultation and receive a paper prescription instead.
Getting an IHI is the workaround if you want a digital prescription. You can still apply for an IHI online via myGov using an ID like a passport, even if you’re:
Once you have an IHI, you can use eScripts like anyone else.
Even with access to the best online doctor Australia has to offer, script consultations are conducted privately on a one-on-one basis, ensuring a personal and discreet experience.
At MediLeave, users join a queue and receive a direct call from a doctor, allowing the discussion to remain confidential. All information provided is treated as personal and sensitive health data in line with Australian privacy laws.
To support data protection, we use 256-bit bank grade security and encryption to protect your personal and medical information throughout the consultation process.
For repeat prescriptions, your pharmacist will send you a new QR code after each repeat is dispensed. This happens until all the repeats are complete, so you will need to keep the new message until it’s time to get your medicine again.
If you accidentally delete a message with a QR code you will need to go back to your doctor to ask for a new eScript, just like you would if you lost a paper script.
Yes. Your details and script are kept private and secure through encryption (a secure way of sending information). Your script can only be ‘unlocked’ by a pharmacist.
Our team of Partner Doctors are fully registered Australian doctors who can prescribe any medication that is clinically appropriate for your needs. All our doctors follow AHPRA guidelines to ensure safe and responsible care.
Please note that some medications cannot be prescribed via a telehealth consultation such as S8 medications, controlled substances, narcotics or any controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor. Our partner doctors reserve the right to decline prescribing any medication or refusing to provide Medical Certificates, based on their professional medical advice.
At MediLeave we uphold the highest standards of healthcare. Online Prescriptions will only be issued if deemed appropriate by our doctors.
There are various reasons why you may be declined access for a prescription, and the doctor has the authority to decline your request if they determine that it is not in your best interest or suitable for your condition. Other reasons could be due to contraindications, your medical history or the absence of a definitive diagnosis. In such circumstances, the doctor will recommend an alternative treatment that is better suited to you or recommend that you seek further assistance and advice in person.
1. First of all, check with the doctor that they have your correct details- a typo on your phone number or email can create this problem. Sometimes there might have been an issue with internet/ wi-fi connection at the moment the eScript was sent, and it might take a few minutes to come through to you.
2. If it still does not arrive, the doctor can double check on their side to see if there was an issue with sending it (this can happen if there is a problem with a person’s Medicare details or “IHI” number (individual health identifier).
3. If the issue still persists the doctor may try to “re-send” it to you, and see if that works.
4. If this still fails, please email our team : info@medileave.com.au for assistance.
Yes, most community pharmacies accept electronic prescriptions (escripts) An eScript is a digital version of a paper script, which the doctor sends you to your phone/email as a QR code or token. Whilst most pharmacies accept and can process escripts, it is best to check with the pharmacy if they are able to accept escripts as some small pharmacies, for example, may not be equipped to process escripts yet.
Yes, if you are a carer or guardian, although the patient needs to provide their consent to the doctor.
Our Partner Doctors cannot prescribe Schedule 8 (S8) or Schedule 4D (S4D) medications via telehealth.
Once the doctor approves your prescription during your consultation, the script is sent instantly via sms or email to you, within minutes
