Instead of handing you a paper script, your doctor sends you a text message or email containing a link to a unique QR code, or token.
Your pharmacist scans the QR code on your phone (or tablet) to retrieve the details of your script and fill your medication.
Digital scripts eliminate errors caused by illegible handwriting, ensuring your pharmacist dispenses exactly what was prescribed.
No need to worry about lost paper. Your script arrives instantly via SMS or email, always accessible on your phone.
Perfect for telehealth consultations. Receive your medication script instantly without needing to visit a clinic in person.
Going digital reduces paper waste, making eScripts a greener choice for you and the planet.

When you're feeling unwell, caring for someone else or pressed to arrange leave, unexpected interruptions are the last thing you need. Time in waiting rooms, travel and shifting schedules can make an otherwise small request feel overwhelming, particularly when you're already juggling work, study or family demands. Online options are available, but most of us share the same concerns: Is this service trustworthy, will my documentation be accepted, and will my privacy be respected? At MediLeave, we help address these concerns with professional services designed around practical requirements. We help you see Australian-registered practitioners through a secure telehealth platform, so you can obtain everyday non-emergency healthcare and medical paperwork quickly and with reassurance. Our approach is clear and straightforward for those who need to consult with a doctor online so they can remotely assess your symptoms, offer medical advice and plan for treatment. Whether you live regionally, reside in a city or have limited time, our platform is built to make access easier without the usual barriers. The same convenience can also benefit those with mobility issues and other similar concerns. We're here to help you sort out your everyday healthcare needs efficiently and reliably, whether you've been researching "Uti Antibiotics Prescription Online" or "Uti Prescription".
With MediLeave, you get a practical way to request medical certificates, carer's certificates, telehealth consultations and more without needing to visit a clinic in person. Particularly when you're looking for a swift and reliable method to manage common healthcare issues, we recognise the need for workplace-accepted documentation. Our online medical certificates are designed to meet the expectations of employers, schools and universities, with a doctor validating your absence and helping confirm that you've taken the appropriate steps when leave is required. Our service lets you avoid unnecessary delays by letting you act promptly when documentation is needed. If your request is not approved, our 100% money back guarantee provides additional peace of mind as well. Alongside certificates, we also offer telehealth consultations with experienced doctors, pharmacists and nurses by phone or video. Our practitioners can provide referrals and general treatment guidance, helping with concerns such as acid reflux and heartburn, migraine care, skin conditions, and thrush and yeast infections. In line with this, you may also get online prescriptions, including new scripts, repeats or medication adjustments, with eScripts sent directly to your phone for use at your chosen pharmacy. We make healthcare access simpler, faster and more reliable, so you can research "Uti Antibiotics Prescription Online", "Uti Scripts Online" or "Uti Prescription Online" with greater confidence.
With a simple digital process and transparent, upfront pricing, sorting out your documentation needs becomes quick and simple. The platform helps you move from start to finish with minimal friction, thanks to the straightforward and intuitive design, so even new users and repeat visitors can rely on a stress-free process. You can easily submit your request online when it suits your schedule, skipping the hassle of clinic visits, and an Australian practitioner or doctor will review your information. Once your request is approved, whether it's a prescription, medical certificate or consultation outcome, we securely send the documents by email or SMS, so you can access them on your phone. You'll only need to pay one flat fee and expect no hidden costs or additional charges, including after-hours or weekend appointments. User support is also available by email or phone if you need help along the way, including guidance on "Online Scripts Adelaide", "Amoxicillin Script Online" and other related topics. We use 256-bit bank-grade encryption to protect your information, so your privacy is never compromised, even when you're enquiring about "medical certificate for work", "online prescriptions" or something else. Since MediLeave is only for everyday, non-emergency healthcare, you should go directly to the nearest emergency department or call 000 if you require urgent attention. Contact a doctor now.
At MediLeave, you can request instant scripts online at any time, as our bookings are available 24/7.
A doctor will review each request to assess the situation and determine whether a prescription or specialist referral online is clinically appropriate, ensuring that care remains safe, responsible and based on individual needs.
When requesting online prescriptions or eScripts in Australia, you will need to provide a few key details, such as your personal information and a short summary of your health concern or request.
It is also a requirement in Australia that, in order to receive an eScript, you must either have a Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI). This is because your identity needs to be verified through the national healthcare system.
If you don’t have either of these, you can still have a telehealth consultation and receive a paper prescription instead.
Getting an IHI is the workaround if you want a digital prescription. You can still apply for an IHI online via myGov using an ID like a passport, even if you’re:
Once you have an IHI, you can use eScripts like anyone else.
Even with access to the best online doctor Australia has to offer, script consultations are conducted privately on a one-on-one basis, ensuring a personal and discreet experience.
At MediLeave, users join a queue and receive a direct call from a doctor, allowing the discussion to remain confidential. All information provided is treated as personal and sensitive health data in line with Australian privacy laws.
To support data protection, we use 256-bit bank grade security and encryption to protect your personal and medical information throughout the consultation process.
For repeat prescriptions, your pharmacist will send you a new QR code after each repeat is dispensed. This happens until all the repeats are complete, so you will need to keep the new message until it’s time to get your medicine again.
If you accidentally delete a message with a QR code you will need to go back to your doctor to ask for a new eScript, just like you would if you lost a paper script.
Yes. Your details and script are kept private and secure through encryption (a secure way of sending information). Your script can only be ‘unlocked’ by a pharmacist.
Our team of Partner Doctors are fully registered Australian doctors who can prescribe any medication that is clinically appropriate for your needs. All our doctors follow AHPRA guidelines to ensure safe and responsible care.
Please note that some medications cannot be prescribed via a telehealth consultation such as S8 medications, controlled substances, narcotics or any controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor. Our partner doctors reserve the right to decline prescribing any medication or refusing to provide Medical Certificates, based on their professional medical advice.
At MediLeave we uphold the highest standards of healthcare. Online Prescriptions will only be issued if deemed appropriate by our doctors.
There are various reasons why you may be declined access for a prescription, and the doctor has the authority to decline your request if they determine that it is not in your best interest or suitable for your condition. Other reasons could be due to contraindications, your medical history or the absence of a definitive diagnosis. In such circumstances, the doctor will recommend an alternative treatment that is better suited to you or recommend that you seek further assistance and advice in person.
1. First of all, check with the doctor that they have your correct details- a typo on your phone number or email can create this problem. Sometimes there might have been an issue with internet/ wi-fi connection at the moment the eScript was sent, and it might take a few minutes to come through to you.
2. If it still does not arrive, the doctor can double check on their side to see if there was an issue with sending it (this can happen if there is a problem with a person’s Medicare details or “IHI” number (individual health identifier).
3. If the issue still persists the doctor may try to “re-send” it to you, and see if that works.
4. If this still fails, please email our team : info@medileave.com.au for assistance.
Yes, most community pharmacies accept electronic prescriptions (escripts) An eScript is a digital version of a paper script, which the doctor sends you to your phone/email as a QR code or token. Whilst most pharmacies accept and can process escripts, it is best to check with the pharmacy if they are able to accept escripts as some small pharmacies, for example, may not be equipped to process escripts yet.
Yes, if you are a carer or guardian, although the patient needs to provide their consent to the doctor.
Our Partner Doctors cannot prescribe Schedule 8 (S8) or Schedule 4D (S4D) medications via telehealth.
Once the doctor approves your prescription during your consultation, the script is sent instantly via sms or email to you, within minutes
