1. How do I request a doctor appointment online?
It’s simple, quick and affordable. You can use our user-friendly website to connect with a doctor at a time that’s convenient to you. Simply choose a service that you require, fill in your details and your contact information, make a payment using our secure payment gateway and one of our doctors will call you when they are available.
A standard consultation is only $39! If you want to speak to a doctor urgently, you can also request a priority consultation for an additional fee which will put you at the front of the queue.
2. Can I choose my Telehealth doctor?
Currently we are not able to offer this option. Once you request an appointment you will go into a queue and the next available doctor will call you. Be assured that all our doctors are fully qualified, licenced and registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. This means they have undergone the necessary training and meet the professional standards required to practice medicine in Australia. All medical practitioners on our platform are accredited and qualified to provide healthcare services to patients and are dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care.
3. Can an online doctor prescribe medication?
Yes. Our doctors can prescribe a number of common medications for everyday conditions and chronic illnesses. An electronic (digital) prescriptions can be sent directly to you after your consult. In order to receive electronic prescriptions you need either a medicare number or an IHI number.
Please note that medication prescriptions will be issued only if deemed appropriate for you and is at the discretion of the consulting doctor. Please note doctors do not provide prescriptions for S8 medications (including Ritalin, Concerta, Vyvanse) and addictive medications (such as Benzodiazepines) and weight loss injections.
4. What happens to my medical records in telehealth appointments?
