Instead of handing you a paper script, your doctor sends you a text message or email containing a link to a unique QR code, or token.
Your pharmacist scans the QR code on your phone (or tablet) to retrieve the details of your script and fill your medication.
Digital scripts eliminate errors caused by illegible handwriting, ensuring your pharmacist dispenses exactly what was prescribed.
No need to worry about lost paper. Your script arrives instantly via SMS or email, always accessible on your phone.
Perfect for telehealth consultations. Receive your medication script instantly without needing to visit a clinic in person.
Going digital reduces paper waste, making eScripts a greener choice for you and the planet.

If you're unwell, looking after someone else or urgently needing to arrange leave, the last thing you need is more hassle. Long waits, travel and uncertain timetables can turn a quick task into a big source of stress when you're already trying to balance work, study and family obligations. Online care is an option, but a lot of us have the same questions: Can I trust the service, will my documents be accepted, and will my personal information stay private? At MediLeave, we help address these concerns with professional services designed around practical requirements. We help you see Australian-registered practitioners through a secure telehealth platform, so you can obtain everyday non-emergency healthcare and medical paperwork quickly and with reassurance. Our approach is clear and straightforward for those who need to consult with a doctor online so they can remotely assess your symptoms, offer medical advice and plan for treatment. Whether you're in a city, living in a rural location or simply in need of an option that moves with your schedule, our platform is built to reduce barriers. Offering the same convenience can also assist people with reduced mobility and other comparable concerns. We're here to help you sort out your everyday healthcare needs efficiently and reliably, whether you've been researching "Gp Prescription" or "Get Viagra Prescription Online".
With MediLeave, you get a practical way to request medical certificates, carer's certificates, telehealth consultations and more without needing to visit a clinic in person. We appreciate how important it is, particularly when you need a fast and trustworthy way to manage routine health matters, to obtain workplace-approved documentation. Our online medical certificates are designed to meet the expectations of employers, schools and universities, with a doctor validating your absence and helping confirm that you've taken the appropriate steps when leave is required. When you need documentation, our platform allows you to move quickly and avoid avoidable hold-ups. For added reassurance, we even offer a 100% money back guarantee if approval is not granted. Alongside certificates, we also offer telehealth consultations with experienced doctors, pharmacists and nurses by phone or video. Practitioners can help with issues like ear and dental infections, hayfever and allergy flare-ups, gastro-related concerns and erectile dysfunction, plus referrals and general treatment advice. In line with this, you may also get online prescriptions, including new scripts, repeats or medication adjustments, with eScripts sent directly to your phone for use at your chosen pharmacy. We make healthcare access simpler, faster and more reliable, so you can research "Gp Prescription", "Travel Vaccinations For Grenada" or "Get Clonidine Prescription Online" with greater confidence.
Because you can request medical certificates through MediLeave online 24/7, you stay in control. On average, most requests are processed within just 60 minutes, so you can do it before the workday begins, late at night or during a short break. Approved outcomes are sent digitally by email, allowing you to access them conveniently from your phone. Qualified Australian practitioners check every submission against the information supplied to help avoid delays and repeated clarification. Also, same-day telehealth consultations run daily from 7am to 11pm AEST, with no added fees for after-hours or on weekends. To speak with a doctor, join the queue and get a call during the timeslot you've chosen. Personal and medical information is safeguarded using 256-bit bank-grade encryption, and you know what to expect with our flat-fee pricing. Our platform is even designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate, particularly for first-time telehealth users, and if questions come up while searching for "Over The Phone Doctor" or "Test Syphilis Vdrl", assistance is available by phone or email. Our service is just for everyday, non-emergency health concerns only, though, so for urgent medical attention, please contact your nearest emergency department or call 000. If you've been curious about "instant scripts online", "blood test referral online" or something else, book a telehealth consult today.
At MediLeave, you can request instant scripts online at any time, as our bookings are available 24/7.
A doctor will review each request to assess the situation and determine whether a prescription or specialist referral online is clinically appropriate, ensuring that care remains safe, responsible and based on individual needs.
When requesting online prescriptions or eScripts in Australia, you will need to provide a few key details, such as your personal information and a short summary of your health concern or request.
It is also a requirement in Australia that, in order to receive an eScript, you must either have a Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI). This is because your identity needs to be verified through the national healthcare system.
If you don’t have either of these, you can still have a telehealth consultation and receive a paper prescription instead.
Getting an IHI is the workaround if you want a digital prescription. You can still apply for an IHI online via myGov using an ID like a passport, even if you’re:
Once you have an IHI, you can use eScripts like anyone else.
Even with access to the best online doctor Australia has to offer, script consultations are conducted privately on a one-on-one basis, ensuring a personal and discreet experience.
At MediLeave, users join a queue and receive a direct call from a doctor, allowing the discussion to remain confidential. All information provided is treated as personal and sensitive health data in line with Australian privacy laws.
To support data protection, we use 256-bit bank grade security and encryption to protect your personal and medical information throughout the consultation process.
For repeat prescriptions, your pharmacist will send you a new QR code after each repeat is dispensed. This happens until all the repeats are complete, so you will need to keep the new message until it’s time to get your medicine again.
If you accidentally delete a message with a QR code you will need to go back to your doctor to ask for a new eScript, just like you would if you lost a paper script.
Yes. Your details and script are kept private and secure through encryption (a secure way of sending information). Your script can only be ‘unlocked’ by a pharmacist.
Our team of Partner Doctors are fully registered Australian doctors who can prescribe any medication that is clinically appropriate for your needs. All our doctors follow AHPRA guidelines to ensure safe and responsible care.
Please note that some medications cannot be prescribed via a telehealth consultation such as S8 medications, controlled substances, narcotics or any controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor. Our partner doctors reserve the right to decline prescribing any medication or refusing to provide Medical Certificates, based on their professional medical advice.
At MediLeave we uphold the highest standards of healthcare. Online Prescriptions will only be issued if deemed appropriate by our doctors.
There are various reasons why you may be declined access for a prescription, and the doctor has the authority to decline your request if they determine that it is not in your best interest or suitable for your condition. Other reasons could be due to contraindications, your medical history or the absence of a definitive diagnosis. In such circumstances, the doctor will recommend an alternative treatment that is better suited to you or recommend that you seek further assistance and advice in person.
1. First of all, check with the doctor that they have your correct details- a typo on your phone number or email can create this problem. Sometimes there might have been an issue with internet/ wi-fi connection at the moment the eScript was sent, and it might take a few minutes to come through to you.
2. If it still does not arrive, the doctor can double check on their side to see if there was an issue with sending it (this can happen if there is a problem with a person’s Medicare details or “IHI” number (individual health identifier).
3. If the issue still persists the doctor may try to “re-send” it to you, and see if that works.
4. If this still fails, please email our team : info@medileave.com.au for assistance.
Yes, most community pharmacies accept electronic prescriptions (escripts) An eScript is a digital version of a paper script, which the doctor sends you to your phone/email as a QR code or token. Whilst most pharmacies accept and can process escripts, it is best to check with the pharmacy if they are able to accept escripts as some small pharmacies, for example, may not be equipped to process escripts yet.
Yes, if you are a carer or guardian, although the patient needs to provide their consent to the doctor.
Our Partner Doctors cannot prescribe Schedule 8 (S8) or Schedule 4D (S4D) medications via telehealth.
Once the doctor approves your prescription during your consultation, the script is sent instantly via sms or email to you, within minutes
