Your pharmacist scans the QR code on your phone (or tablet) to retrieve the details of your script and fill your medication.

2

Learn more about Online Prescriptions GP

If you're feeling ill, looking after someone at home or needing to organise leave quickly, it's usually hard to find healthcare that suits your schedule without adding stress. Scheduling traditional GP visits and having to sit in waiting rooms often disrupt your routine, particularly when you need quick documentation for work, study or family. With this, we built MediLeave as a professional, Australian telehealth platform designed to provide you with credible, accessible support for everyday situations. All practitioners you get in touch with here are Australian-registered and practise according to RACGP and AHPRA standards. This means that documentation, advice and care are consistent with trusted Australian healthcare guidelines. Our approach is straightforward, respectful and clinically responsible, so you can feel confident as you schedule a consultation with a doctor online. Whether you're in a city office, working remotely or managing a full schedule, you can count on our service to provide the guidance and recommendations you need, even as you research "Online Prescriptions Gp" and beyond. We focus on clinical integrity and dependability while giving you a reliable way to handle essential health needs online, as we know many people are looking up "Online Repeat Prescription" and other related topics.

Through our platform, you can directly consult experienced doctors, pharmacists and nurses. You can outline your unique requirements and ask relevant questions through phone or video consults. You can use this approach to handle everyday health problems such as thrush and yeast infections, skin conditions and rashes, and migraines and headaches, without having to wait for a face-to-face visit. Aside from these telehealth consultations, we also have a wider set of online services, including doctor's certificates or sick notes for work, university or carer's leave. To eliminate concerns of risks first-time users may have, we support these with a 100% money back guarantee if your request is not approved by a practitioner. Online prescriptions are also available, and they arrive straight to your phone for use at any pharmacy. For travel, practitioners can even provide tailored health advice and prescriptions for prevention or treatment. Our platform is designed for speed and efficiency, so you can request medical certificates, get trusted advice through telehealth consultations or handle prescriptions in one place. This approach helps you avoid unnecessary delays, keep your schedule intact and gain professional guidance for your health concerns, whether you were searching for "Online Prescriptions Gp" or something else entirely. The same level of convenience applies when you want to learn more about "Vaccines To Travel To Brazil" or "Online Prescriptions Melbourne".

Our medical certificate requests are available online 24/7, so you're in control when you turn to MediLeave. Most requests are processed within only 60 minutes on average, whether you submit them before work, after hours or during a quick break. Approved outcomes are sent digitally by email, allowing you to access them conveniently from your phone. Qualified Australian practitioners review each submission based on the information provided, helping reduce delays and unnecessary back-and-forth. You can even book same-day telehealth appointments daily from 7am to 11pm AEST, with no extra charge for after-hours or weekends. When you're prepared to talk to a doctor, you can join the queue and receive a call during the timeslot you've selected. Your personal and medical data is secured with 256-bit bank-grade encryption, while our flat-fee pricing ensures you know what to expect. Our platform is even designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate, particularly for first-time telehealth users, and if questions come up while searching for "Antibiotic Script Online" or "Telehealth Doctors Bondi", assistance is available by phone or email. Our service, however, is just for everyday, non-emergency healthcare matters, so if you need urgent medical help, please go to your nearest emergency department or call 000. If you've been curious about "online scripts australia", "medical certificate for sick leave" or something else, book a telehealth consult today.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our telehealth services

At MediLeave, you can request instant scripts online at any time, as our bookings are available 24/7.

A doctor will review each request to assess the situation and determine whether a prescription or specialist referral online is clinically appropriate, ensuring that care remains safe, responsible and based on individual needs.

When requesting online prescriptions or eScripts in Australia, you will need to provide a few key details, such as your personal information and a short summary of your health concern or request.

It is also a requirement in Australia that, in order to receive an eScript, you must either have a Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI). This is because your identity needs to be verified through the national healthcare system.

If you don’t have either of these, you can still have a telehealth consultation and receive a paper prescription instead.

Getting an IHI is the workaround if you want a digital prescription. You can still apply for an IHI online via myGov using an ID like a passport, even if you’re:

  • a visitor
  • an international student
  • not eligible for Medicare

Once you have an IHI, you can use eScripts like anyone else.

Even with access to the best online doctor Australia has to offer, script consultations are conducted privately on a one-on-one basis, ensuring a personal and discreet experience.

At MediLeave, users join a queue and receive a direct call from a doctor, allowing the discussion to remain confidential. All information provided is treated as personal and sensitive health data in line with Australian privacy laws.

To support data protection, we use 256-bit bank grade security and encryption to protect your personal and medical information throughout the consultation process.

For repeat prescriptions, your pharmacist will send you a new QR code after each repeat is dispensed. This happens until all the repeats are complete, so you will need to keep the new message until it’s time to get your medicine again.

If you accidentally delete a message with a QR code you will need to go back to your doctor to ask for a new eScript, just like you would if you lost a paper script.

Yes. Your details and script are kept private and secure through encryption (a secure way of sending information). Your script can only be ‘unlocked’ by a pharmacist.

Our team of Partner Doctors are fully registered Australian doctors who can prescribe any medication that is clinically appropriate for your needs. All our doctors follow AHPRA guidelines to ensure safe and responsible care.

Please note that some medications cannot be prescribed via a telehealth consultation such as S8 medications, controlled substances, narcotics or any controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor. Our partner doctors reserve the right to decline prescribing any medication or refusing to provide Medical Certificates, based on their professional medical advice.

At MediLeave we uphold the highest standards of healthcare. Online Prescriptions will only be issued if deemed appropriate by our doctors.

There are various reasons why you may be declined access for a prescription, and the doctor has the authority to decline your request if they determine that it is not in your best interest or suitable for your condition. Other reasons could be due to contraindications, your medical history or the absence of a definitive diagnosis. In such circumstances, the doctor will recommend an alternative treatment that is better suited to you or recommend that you seek further assistance and advice in person.

1. First of all, check with the doctor that they have your correct details- a typo on your phone number or email can create this problem. Sometimes there might have been an issue with internet/ wi-fi connection at the moment the eScript was sent, and it might take a few minutes to come through to you.

2. If it still does not arrive, the doctor can double check on their side to see if there was an issue with sending it (this can happen if there is a problem with a person’s Medicare details or “IHI” number (individual health identifier).

3. If the issue still persists the doctor may try to “re-send” it to you, and see if that works.

4. If this still fails, please email our team : info@medileave.com.au for assistance.

Yes, most community pharmacies accept electronic prescriptions (escripts) An eScript is a digital version of a paper script, which the doctor sends you to your phone/email as a QR code or token. Whilst most pharmacies accept and can process escripts, it is best to check with the pharmacy if they are able to accept escripts as some small pharmacies, for example, may not be equipped to process escripts yet.

Yes, if you are a carer or guardian, although the patient needs to provide their consent to the doctor.

Our Partner Doctors cannot prescribe Schedule 8 (S8) or Schedule 4D (S4D) medications via telehealth.

Once the doctor approves your prescription during your consultation, the script is sent instantly via sms or email to you, within minutes
