How do eScripts work?

Getting your medication has never been easier. Here’s how our digital prescription system works.

Receive Your eScript

Instead of handing you a paper script, your doctor sends you a text message or email containing a link to a unique QR code, or token.

1

Show at Any Pharmacy

Your pharmacist scans the QR code on your phone (or tablet) to retrieve the details of your script and fill your medication.

2

Benefits of using eScripts

No need to worry about lost paper. Your script arrives instantly via SMS or email, always accessible on your phone.

Instant Telehealth Delivery

Perfect for telehealth consultations. Receive your medication script instantly without needing to visit a clinic in person.

Learn more about Tretinoin Online Prescription

It can be troublesome to book an in-person appointment because of long wait times, travel-related demands and busy schedules, especially when timely documentation is needed for work or study. On top of these challenges, many people feel unsure about whether speaking to a doctor online is secure, whether documents will be accepted or if requests will be met quickly enough to matter. Privacy is also a common worry, with users often choosing not to disclose more personal health information than needed. MediLeave delivers a clear solution by connecting Australians to qualified clinicians through a secure telehealth platform. Our mission is to make it easier to access non-emergency care and compliant medical documentation. As an Australian-based service, we combine convenience with credible healthcare, giving you access to a clinician wherever you are, whether at home, at work or on the go. This approach is especially helpful for those in rural or remote areas, individuals with mobility challenges, or anyone managing a busy routine and researching "Tretinoin Online Prescription" or "Tretinoin Australia Prescription". With Australian-registered practitioners working in accordance with RACGP and AHPRA standards, you can trust that the care and documentation offered through us are professional, reliable and nationally recognised.

MediLeave delivers a simple and dependable way to manage everyday healthcare needs without visiting a clinic. When people need a medical certificate, a doctor consultation or a prescription, they often look for a fast solution, and delays can increase the stress they're already experiencing. Our platform provides a range of services, including a way to request medical certificates for work, school, university or carer's leave, using a standard format that meets institutional requirements. You can also connect with experienced doctors, nurses and pharmacists through telehealth consultations, which are available via phone or video. You gain access to support from clinicians for common concerns, including acid reflux, flu symptoms, yeast infections and hayfever, so you stay assisted and informed. For added convenience, you may request new or repeat online prescriptions and receive them directly on your phone, ready for use at your local pharmacy. Plus, when preparing for a trip, you can connect with a doctor for travel health advice and obtain vaccine eScripts for yellow fever and malaria prevention and many other destination-based requirements, all delivered to your phone. Through fast access to professional care, we help you handle your health needs with ease and confidence, making it hassle-free to look up "Tretinoin Online Prescription", "Tret Prescription Online" or "Tretinoin Script Online".

With MediLeave, getting the care or documentation you need is simple and convenient. You may submit your request online at any time without needing to book an appointment or visit a clinic, making it convenient for demanding schedules and after-hours needs. A qualified Australian clinician reviews your submitted information and carefully assesses your situation. Should your request be approved, your medical certificate, prescription or consultation outcome is sent straight to your phone via email or SMS. You can request medical certificates 24/7, with processing times averaging only 60 minutes. Telehealth consultations are available daily between 7am and 11pm AEST, allowing you to join a queue and speak with a doctor without the need for waiting rooms, so it's easy to search for "Script Skincare" or "Cialis Prescription Online". We also prioritise safety and transparency, using 256-bit bank-grade encryption to protect your information. This service is for non-emergency needs; if you have urgent healthcare needs, you should go to your nearest emergency department or call 000. If you need assistance along the way, support is available via phone or email. Whether you've been interested in "covid 19 medical certificate" or "dr after hours", book a telehealth consult now.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our telehealth services

At MediLeave, you can request instant scripts online at any time, as our bookings are available 24/7.

A doctor will review each request to assess the situation and determine whether a prescription or specialist referral online is clinically appropriate, ensuring that care remains safe, responsible and based on individual needs.

When requesting online prescriptions or eScripts in Australia, you will need to provide a few key details, such as your personal information and a short summary of your health concern or request.

It is also a requirement in Australia that, in order to receive an eScript, you must either have a Medicare number or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI). This is because your identity needs to be verified through the national healthcare system.

If you don’t have either of these, you can still have a telehealth consultation and receive a paper prescription instead.

Getting an IHI is the workaround if you want a digital prescription. You can still apply for an IHI online via myGov using an ID like a passport, even if you’re:

  • a visitor
  • an international student
  • not eligible for Medicare

Once you have an IHI, you can use eScripts like anyone else.

Even with access to the best online doctor Australia has to offer, script consultations are conducted privately on a one-on-one basis, ensuring a personal and discreet experience.

At MediLeave, users join a queue and receive a direct call from a doctor, allowing the discussion to remain confidential. All information provided is treated as personal and sensitive health data in line with Australian privacy laws.

To support data protection, we use 256-bit bank grade security and encryption to protect your personal and medical information throughout the consultation process.

For repeat prescriptions, your pharmacist will send you a new QR code after each repeat is dispensed. This happens until all the repeats are complete, so you will need to keep the new message until it’s time to get your medicine again.

If you accidentally delete a message with a QR code you will need to go back to your doctor to ask for a new eScript, just like you would if you lost a paper script.

Yes. Your details and script are kept private and secure through encryption (a secure way of sending information). Your script can only be ‘unlocked’ by a pharmacist.

Our team of Partner Doctors are fully registered Australian doctors who can prescribe any medication that is clinically appropriate for your needs. All our doctors follow AHPRA guidelines to ensure safe and responsible care.

Please note that some medications cannot be prescribed via a telehealth consultation such as S8 medications, controlled substances, narcotics or any controlled drugs and medications requiring close monitoring by a doctor. Our partner doctors reserve the right to decline prescribing any medication or refusing to provide Medical Certificates, based on their professional medical advice.

At MediLeave we uphold the highest standards of healthcare. Online Prescriptions will only be issued if deemed appropriate by our doctors.

There are various reasons why you may be declined access for a prescription, and the doctor has the authority to decline your request if they determine that it is not in your best interest or suitable for your condition. Other reasons could be due to contraindications, your medical history or the absence of a definitive diagnosis. In such circumstances, the doctor will recommend an alternative treatment that is better suited to you or recommend that you seek further assistance and advice in person.

1. First of all, check with the doctor that they have your correct details- a typo on your phone number or email can create this problem. Sometimes there might have been an issue with internet/ wi-fi connection at the moment the eScript was sent, and it might take a few minutes to come through to you.

2. If it still does not arrive, the doctor can double check on their side to see if there was an issue with sending it (this can happen if there is a problem with a person’s Medicare details or “IHI” number (individual health identifier).

3. If the issue still persists the doctor may try to “re-send” it to you, and see if that works.

4. If this still fails, please email our team : info@medileave.com.au for assistance.

Yes, most community pharmacies accept electronic prescriptions (escripts) An eScript is a digital version of a paper script, which the doctor sends you to your phone/email as a QR code or token. Whilst most pharmacies accept and can process escripts, it is best to check with the pharmacy if they are able to accept escripts as some small pharmacies, for example, may not be equipped to process escripts yet.

Yes, if you are a carer or guardian, although the patient needs to provide their consent to the doctor.

Our Partner Doctors cannot prescribe Schedule 8 (S8) or Schedule 4D (S4D) medications via telehealth.

Once the doctor approves your prescription during your consultation, the script is sent instantly via sms or email to you, within minutes
